Scientific contributions are welcome, concerning a wide range of topics: from ecophysiology and plant management in urban environment, through psychological and social aspects of gardening, plant use and garden design - including transversal views where landscape architecture meets functional horticultural management in the cities - to urban agriculture. Contributions dealing with innovative solutions for garden design and management, including ecological engineering and technologies, are warmly welcome.
Abstracts should be submitted electronically only, to dista.luh2009@unibo.it before November 15th, 2008
An abstract in English of about 300 words should be presented on a single A4 page (File Word - .doc) .

Abstracts not in line with the standard will be excluded from the volume of ISHS Acta Horticulturae.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and the corresponding author will be notified of acceptance and of type of presentation (oral or poster) by December 19th, 2008.
All accepted presentations (oral and poster) will be included in a special volume of ISHS Acta Horticulturae.
Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to provide the full-length paper by June 13th, 2009.
Please note that in order to have your paper print in the ISHS Acta Horticulturae we need to receive the completed registration to the meeting (and payment) of at least one of the authors before May 9th 2009.
